Our History

Since then, We advise on all aspects of international trade and investment. Our team is fully conversant with the impact of international trade treaties and regimes, and related legislation, and we liaise with New Zealand’s government agencies regarding international trade, international treaty obligations and associated legislative proposals.

Our primary function when we were established was to gather revenue for the government. By the 1990s, however, trade’s importance to the economy saw us shift our focus. Helping facilitate New Zealand’s expanding international trade relationships became our priority.
